What a project. This lovely home in Hampshire has had a complete renovation from top to bottom, inside and out. It's been a huge achievement for everyone involved. We teamed up with Joyce pools to complete all the hard landscaping. This design was incredible and although working on such a detailed and grand design comes with its challenges, the end result is truly amazing. This was another garden that was designed to be social, with a huge outdoor kitchen/bar and multiple seating areas around the pool. The underground pump house was some feat.
It was an absolute delight to work on this stunning home in the heart of the British countryside. With a lovely new pool house we came in to build the pool surround using a tumbled fossil pearl limestone edged with a brick header course. The space was designed to be social, the pool house had a kitchen/bar and sauna. The stone we used for the pool surround was also used inside the building which connected the indoor and outdoor spaces perfectly.
This is Hackhurst farm, situated in the south downs, a beautiful part of the world. The owners have truly made their dream a reality by transforming this old farm into a breathtaking event space and therapy retreat. With the local community in mind they now host various workshops and are doing great things in the area. Once the main house, barn and outbuildings were renovated we teamed up with The Brighton Garden Company and started work on the outside across the whole farm. We used sandstone for the patio areas to keep with the rustic feel and granite cobbled stones for the main driveway. Fishing down at the lake at lunchtime isn't something you get to do everyday!
This country manor on the outskirts of Basingstoke would be many peoples dream home. Nestled right into the counryside, most days we would be pleasantly surprised by the wildlife. I hope the baby magpie we rescued is living a happy life! Although this property is a little slice of heaven, the swimming pool area was looking rather run down. For this project we removed the existing dated stone from around the pool, redesigned the shape and reinstalled a new pool surround. We used a large format neutral tumbled travertine edged with a small format of the same stone. The electricians did a wonderful job on this one with an incredible lighting plan.
